We are looking for a Quality Analyst (Manual) who is result-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications across platforms.
- Identify bugs, performance issues, and data anomalies with detailed analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.
- Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, test data, and test results.
- Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and test strategy discussions.
- Support troubleshooting and validation throughout the software development life cycle.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in manual mobile app testing
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Strong understanding of defect tracking, test plan execution, and quality metrics.
- Basic familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, Eclipse, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
- Exposure to API testing using Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with Selenium with Java, TestNG, Maven, or JMeter.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git or Subversion.
Qualifications & Soft Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BTech/BE/MCA/MTech)
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude
